The Rivard Report‘s conversation with Councilman John Courage (D9) has been rescheduled for Tuesday Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. at Weathered Souls Brewing Company. The event was postponed due to inclement weather and potentially dangerous road conditions.
Conversations with the Council is a series of moderated discussions between the Rivard Report and each of the City Council’s 10 members. The next scheduled conversation is with Councilwoman Ana Sandoval (D7) on Jan. 29 at 6 p.m. at St. Mary’s University.
So far, Rivard Report Editor-in-Chief Beth Frerking has discussed the state of their district with Councilwoman Rebecca Viagran (D3), Councilman Rey Saldaña (D4), and Councilman Cruz Shaw (D2). Publisher Robert Rivard spoke with Councilwoman Shirley Gonzales (D5), Councilman Clayton Perry (D10), and Councilman Greg Brockhouse (D6).
