This year marks Trinity University‘s 34th Policy Maker Breakfast Series and it’s starting off strong with an Oct. 6 breakfast with former Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, titled “America: Our Next Chapter.”

Hagel served as the Secretary of Defense from 2013-15 and currently serves as a distinguished executive in residence at Georgetown University.

The breakfast, beginning at 7:30 a.m., will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Antonio Airport – Tamayo Ballroom. Seating is limited and advance registration is required. To register, complete the form located within the Policy Maker Breakfasts Brochure, or click here to register online.

The second lecture will take place on Dec. 1 when Richard W. Fisher, the former president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, will present a lecture titled the “Economic Outlook in the United States.” Fisher received the Woodrow Wilson Award for Public Service in 2014.

On Feb. 9, Nina Easton, a senior editor-at-large for Fortune magazine, will speak on “Election Forecast and Analysis.” She is a FOX news contributor and a panelist on FOX News Sunday and the primetime Special Report with Bret Baier.

Bob Schieffer, the former moderator of Face the Nation and the former CBS News chief Washington correspondent, will present a speech on the “Political Outlook from a Political Insider” on April 5.
