The three propositions proposed by the fire union are among the most hotly debated items on the November ballot. The proposed charter amendments are:
- Prop A, which would make it easier for residents to put proposed ordinances and financial decisions to a public vote;
- Prop B, which would limit future city managers’ salaries and tenure; and
- Prop C, which would force binding arbitration between the union and the City on a new labor contract.
