On March 17, Something Monday, our social bike ride in partnership with San Antonio B-Cycle will take us down the mission reach to explore the future site of Confluence Park.
Located at the confluence of San Pedro Creek and San Antonio River, Confluence Park will serve as both a recreational and learning destination to teach locals and visitors alike about conservation and sustainability.

This is no ordinary park. It’s an ambitious, three-acre, state-of-the-art learning center that includes solar power and rainwater harvesting in its design.
Celeste Derozier, capital campaign director for The San Antonio River Foundation, will give us a tour of the site and share the River Foundation’s vision for this cutting-edge urban park.
We will depart at 6 p.m. from the San Antonio B-Cycle Station located in the Blue Star Arts Complex. From there we will ride for two miles along the river to the site.
Afterwards, let’s ride back up to Southtown for some drinks, food and conversation at La Tuna Grill.
