Councilman Marc Whyte, the council’s lone conservative, won a second term representing the Northside’s District 10, garnering 69% of the vote.
Whyte had a rocky start with a DWI arrest months into the job, but while he may have appeared vulnerable shortly after the 2023 arrest, he raised more money than even many mayoral hopefuls and kept his loyal base of Northside neighborhood leaders on board.
His closest challenger business owner Roy Anthony II took 12.4% of votes.
