The revived La Semana Alegre music festival has secured its headliners: 1990s-era Fort Worth legends the Toadies will anchor April 25, and genre-bending Los Angeles band Ozomatli will be the featured act on April 26.

Other bands announced by Hemisfair include San Antonio’s own Girl in a Coma, Inner Wave, Grupo METÁL featuring Chris Perez, Heartless Bastards, The Red Pears, and two acts described as original La Semana Alegre favorites, Legs Diamond and Joe King Carrasco.

Other local acts in the lineup include Bombasta, Nicky Diamonds and Garrett T. Capps & NASA Country.

Scheduled during Fiesta week, the music festival will in part be a post-Battle of Flowers Parade party.

“From the Thursday night concert vibes to Friday’s post-parade party in the park, each day will be a unique and memorable experience,” said Faith Radle of Galaxy Productions, Hemisfair’s partner in organizing the festival, in an announcement to media.

Rounding out the festival atmosphere will be sets by San Antonio DJs SoundCream Airstream, with local food and beverage vendors on site.

With more bands to be announced, the lineup as it stands is on the festival website, with advance VIP and general admission tickets available now from $15 to $100.
