Tunette Powell is a wife, mother of three and East Side native. Powell serves as Youth Empowerment Chair of the City of San Antonio Martin Luther King Jr. Commission, co-chair of the Boys and Girls Club of San Antonio’s Community Voice Council and is an assistant research professor and director of Parent and Family Partnerships at the Children’s Equity Project.
