Construction begins on South Alamo as city seeks to help suffering businesses

The city started work on a $36 million road makeover and drainage project this week, but major trenching is expected after the new year.

Plans to redevelop and expand the Bandera Road corridor from Interstate 410 to Loop 1604 are beginning to be realized as community input has begun.
