The Rivard Report virtual event series “Tech of Tomorrow” continued this week as Mark Leung, who chairs the University of Texas at San Antonio’s department of management science and statistics, joined tech reporter Lindsey Carnett for a conversation on the coronavirus crisis.

The pandemic has made companies both small and large rethink their business models. Due to the loss of demand across nearly all industries, the pandemic has expedited the adoption of artificial intelligence and could have a lasting impact on businesses. Leung has been studying these changes and shared insights in his discussion with Carnett.
