Three roadways in San Antonio’s downtown area will be closed on Sunday for the the Alamo 13.1 Half Marathon, so drivers should plan accordingly. There will be eight-hour street closures lasting from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the following streets:

Alamo Street — from McCullough Avenue to Crockett Street

Houston Street — from Alamo Street to St. Mary’s Street

Crockett Street — from St. Mary’s Street to Alamo Street

Now in its fifth year, the Alamo 13.1 draws thousands of participants to compete in the half marathon, 6.2 mile run, and 3.1 mile run. The half marathon route takes runners past places like the River Walk, Museum Reach, the Pearl, and across the historic Hays Street Bridge.
