Councilwoman Teri Castillo (D5) sailed to reelection to a third term in her Westside council district Saturday night.

Castillo was among the new progressive voices elected in 2021, and drew just two challengers this year.

With all Bexar County vote centers reporting, Castillo took 76.81% of the vote. Her closest opponent, Pablo Arriaga III, who works for the San Antonio Police Department, was endorsed by the police union and took 17.04%.
