Dear readers:

Each year the Rivard Report conducts a reader survey. We are seeking greater feedback than ever in this survey, a reflection of our continuing growth and our recent transition to 501(c)(3) status. Our staff has grown, and we are publishing a greater number of articles each day, and covering a wider range of topics and areas of metro San Antonio. We’ve also started to publish content from third party partners like The Texas Tribune. This is a presidential election year, and San Antonio will also hold an important bond election in May 2017, so we also are asking about your civic engagement. We have a lot to talk about.

  1. Your survey seemed a bit loaded… I know they usually are, but I didn’t answer a few due to unrepresented options. Perhaps it could have been worded differently by someone with a background in business communication. Just one person’s opinion

  2. I appreciate The Rivard Report conducting the survey and the fact the publication is moving more towards news articles that impact citizens/taxpayers versus just information about events. The survey is tailored towards San Antonio readers. I live on the outskirts of San Antonio and read The Rivard Report so many of the questions, like the ones about local voting did not apply to me. It may have been considered and decided against, but it might have been informative to have an “additional comments” section. I once saw an article about The Rivard Report’s board members. It may be beneficial to list them on your website if not already there. Thx
