Love the Spurs? Need a part-time, seasonal job? Good news.

Spurs Sports & Entertainment (SS&E) is on a hiring spree and is looking for 300 new employees to work part time for the 2021-22 season. These workers will help with large events and games at the AT&T Center — soon to be renamed — as well as Toyota Field.

Hourly rates start at $12, according to an SS&E press release. A company representative said the upper range is more than $15 an hour but could not disclose how much higher than that it goes.

There appears to have been upward pressure on those wages. Some of the job opportunities, such as raffle seller and box office representative, were listed in recent weeks on LinkedIn for less: $9 and $9.25 an hour.

Benefits include “flexible scheduling, employee referral program, fan shop discounts and more,” the company said in its press release.

The entertainment giant behind the Spurs said it is looking for ushers, greeters, ticket takers, box office representatives, raffle sellers and building operations crew members. Openings for security representatives and building operations also have full-time positions available.

SS&E is hosting a job fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday. Applicants also can apply by visiting SS&E’s website.

The entertainment firm said it would offer positions “on the spot” to successful applicants at its job fair.

Applicants must be 18 or older.
