Thursday at 6:30 p.m., divine the history of tarot cards at Déjà Vu Esoterica with Gem Hotvet. Wild and scandalous tales on card readers and artists of the past are promised, and Hotvet will be giving readings from 3 p.m. til 5:30 p.m., with proceeds to be donated to Hurricane Helene relief efforts.

Also Thursday night, 15 San Antonio artists ponder what messages the next Voyager spacecraft — an imagined third after the first two launched in the 1970s — might carry beyond the outer limits of our solar system. The Voyager 3 exhibition is free, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Carver Community Cultural Center.

On Friday, The Creative Mass at Legacy Park promises soulful serenades through an evening of music, dance and performance poetry, starring luminaries such as Vocab, Spoken Fro Flo and Super Ultra Cosmic Ray. The gathering of creative community is free, starting at 7 p.m.

The SMART Art Fair runs all day Saturday in Southtown, with art workshops, vendors and live music from noon to 10 p.m.

And from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Ruby City celebrates its 5th anniversary, with festivities including a seance led by Los Angeles artist Jeffrey Vallance, who will contact the spirits of women artists including Ruby City founder, patron and artist Linda Pace herself. Free, with reservations recommended.

Main Plaza celebrates the 10th anniversary of San Antonio: The Saga with artist Xavier de Richemont in person, accompanied by an evening mercado, jazzy live music by Chris Cuevas Project and Henry Brun, and new Saga tribute imagery to debut at 9 p.m. The free event starts at 6 p.m.

San Antonio artist Gary Sweeney turns up at Dockspace Gallery Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a show titled Mistakes, Rejections, and Other Learning Methods, presenting “40 years of rejections, mistakes, and misspelled text,” according to the artist.

Also on Saturday there’s a free community screening of the Latinx superhero flick Blue Beetle, 7 p.m. at Cassiano Park. Reservations requested. It’s part of the Raza Cósmica film festival, which starts Thursday night at Jaime’s Place.

Head to Balcones Heights Sunday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. for Hispanic Trails at Wonderland of the Americas, a bountiful festival featuring cuisines and culture from 15 Latin American-Hispanic countries.
