Paper Tiger hosted a dance party in honor of Beyoncé’s epic visual album on Thursday night. More than 100 San Antonians were draped in disco lights and simulated fog while Queen Bey led observers through Lemonade: equal parts manifesto, diary, and anthem that touched on love, sex, betrayal, revenge, social injustice, and forgiveness – often in graphic detail.

Inside, DJs blasted some favorites from her discography while a projector played the visual album outside in the venue’s patio.

The disappointing Spurs game, played on a separate projector, also drew a crowd as did the bar which served special, hard lemonade and watermelon cocktails in addition to its usual offerings.

Whoever “Becky with the good hair” is, it’s safe to say she’s keeping her distance from Lemonade stands for the next decade or so.
