Palo Alto College is gearing up to host PACfest, the largest official Fiesta celebration south of Highway 90, with its biggest event lineup yet.

PACfest 2026 will be held from noon to 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, at the Palo Alto College campus located at 1400 W. Villaret Blvd.

The family-friendly festival began in the early 1990s and became an official Fiesta San Antonio celebration in 2003. This year it will also serve as a community celebration of the community college’s 40th anniversary.

“PACfest continues to be a celebration of the culture, and music of the Southside community that Palo Alto College has called home for 40 years,” said Robert Garza, Palo Alto College president in a statement. “This year’s lineup is a tribute to the heart of the Fiesta Cultura, and a commitment to ensuring that our campus is a place that brings our community of all ages together.”

Admission is $10, but children ages 12 and under can enter for free. The college is also offering family admission PACfest packages with platinum reserved parking.

This year’s musical lineup includes a mix of regional and international artists including La Tropa Estrella, Los Palominos, Grupo Control and Los Tigrillos.

The event will also feature raffles, vendors, children’s activities, and merchandise for sale, including the college’s Fiesta medal, all intended to support student scholarships and community initiatives.

“PACfest is the largest fundrasing opportunity for PAC student organizations and clubs,” the event’s website states. “Of all the food and novelty vendors at PACfest offering Fiesta favorites like chicken on a stick, turkey legs, and corn in a cup, most are student organizations.”
