Seasonal shoppers searching for original artworks and authentic, handmade crafts created by San Antonio artists will descend this weekend on the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center for the annual, two-day Hecho a Mano market.
The market’s name translates to “made by hand,” and for more than 30 years, local collectors and people looking for gifts that reflect the art, culture, and craft of San Antonio have come to the Guadalupe for the Saturday-Sunday afternoon market.
Many of San Antonio’s best known artists display their work for sale at Hecho a Mano.
Admission is $2 per person, or free for people who bring two undamaged cans of food that will benefit the nearby Inner City Development Food Bank.
Where: Galeria Guadalupe, 723. S. Brazos St.
When: Saturday, Dec. 2, and Sunday, Dec. 3, 12-6 p.m.
