The Gonzales Gallery is temporarily closed and inactive due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Gonzales Gallery is a rotating art program at the San Antonio Report office that highlights our city’s creative community. All artwork is for sale and proceeds support the artist and the San Antonio Report‘s nonprofit newsroom. San Antonio artists interested in submitting their portfolios to the open call for future rotations can apply here. To schedule a private tour, please contact us at gonzalesgallery@sareport.org.

Series I: InterSpace Dec. 11, 2018 – Feb. 28, 2019

InterSpace explores shapes and patterns found in natural and built environments through a variety of mediums and handmade processes. Featured artists include Amada Miller, Barbara Miñaro, and Charlie Kitchen. You can read more about the exhibition here.

Series V: Arts & Activism September 8, 2020

A showcase five emerging artists as part of MOVE Texas’ inaugural National Artists of Texas Fellowship. These young artists discussed how visual art has the power to engage and inspire the next generation of Texas voters during a historic election year.
