Small-business owners, entrepreneurs and the business-curious are invited to Geekdom Tuesday for two business-inflected Fiesta events.

In the morning, Geekdom will host coffee and networking, along with a panel, How to Launch and Scale Your Business in San Antonio, at its new third-floor headquarters in the Rand Building downtown. The company is also offering free coworking all day.

The event kicks off at 9:15 a.m. and runs through noon. It’s free and open to the public, but organizers encourage those interested to register for a ticket.

In the afternoon, Geekdom is joining forces with the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce for a “Small Business Fiesta” that will showcase “innovative small, micro, and startup businesses.” Attendees will also learn about starting a business in the region.

That event will take place from 1 – 5 p.m. in the Geekdom Events Center at 131 Soledad St. It’s also free and open to all. Register here.

The Greater Chamber bills itself as the largest of San Antonio’s many chambers of commerce, with 1,750 members. It appointed Jeff Webster as its latest president and CEO last November.

Geekdom recently added 12,000 square feet of space inside the Rand building, including a coffee shop, community space, dedicated desks for co-working members and a podcast studio. The company last year took over management of Launch SA, the City of San Antonio’s one-stop shop for would-be entrepreneurs and established businesses seeking guidance.
