There has been much speculation about whether Spurs legend Tim Duncan will retire after this year’s disappointing outcome of the Western Conference Semifinals: the 113-99 Game 6 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night.
Duncan has been largely silent on the subject, telling reporters he will get to his decision “when I figure life out.”
Veteran star Manu Ginobili, whose contract also contains an opt-out clause, may also choose to retire.
Nevertheless, Spurs fans are “still in love.”

For their own good and for the good of the Spurs, the decision needs to be made by these men considering:
1. Do they feel it is time?
2. If they decide to wait, will they regret it (either because of problems they have while continuing or because of problems the Spurs have because of their continuing).
