San Antonio native Trey Martinez Fischer has represented the 116th District in the Texas House of Representatives since 2000. He is a graduate of Oliver Wendell Holmes High School, and received his BA from UTSA; law degree from the University of Texas School of Law; and a Masters in Public Administration from the Baruch College of Public Affairs after being named a National Urban Fellow. Martinez Fischer is chairman of the Mexican-American Legislative Caucus, the oldest and largest Latino legislative caucus in the United States.
