Author Archives: Scott Martin
Scott Martin works at night with a camera and handheld flashlights. His images are made slowly, expanding and stretching the photographic moment often over several hours of long exposure, layering and painting with light. Although Scott's images are made using high resolution digital equipment, they are developed and printed without the use of Photoshop. His creative process happens onsite and in-camera, and not afterwards in "post." Scott also teaches photography workshops throughout the country, and provides one-on-one training with pro photographers in the field. Working at night, painting with flashlights, enjoying craft beers, and finding the extraordinary in the ordinary are some of his favorite topics of discussion.
