Born in Mexico and raised in Texas, Natalia Treviño has won several awards for her writing, including the San Antonio Artists Literary Award, the Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Prize, and the Alfredo Cisneros del Moral award. She is the author of "Lavando La Dirty Laundry" (Mongrel Empire Press, 2014, and a finalist for the International Rubery Award and The Writers League of Texas Poetry Award); and "VirginX" (Finishing LIne Press, 2018). Natalia became a naturalized U.S. citizen at the age of 15, graduated from UTSA and the University of Nebraska's low residency MFA program, and is a professor at Northwest Vista College. Her publications appear in Mirrors Beneath the Earth (Curbstone Press), The Platte Valley Review, Bordersenses, Borderlands Texas Poetry Review, Sugar House Review, The Taos Journal of Poetry and Art, and several others.
