Lewis Maverick McNeel is an architect based in San Antonio, Texas. He earned degrees from the University of Virginia and then worked in East Africa designing schools and community buildings with Engineering Ministries International. He is a project director at Lake|Flato Architects where he oversees a diverse array of projects including visitor centers, commercial urban infill, large parks, higher education, and adaptive reuse projects. He’s married to and helplessly in love with Bekah McNeel, a journalist, luxury travel specialist, and blogger.
