Born and raised in San Antonio, Léo Treviño is an educator who works with at-risk middle school aged students on the Southside. After serving multiple tours of combat in the U.S. Army for 10 years, he received dual B.A.s in History and Mexican-American Studies and is currently pursuing a M.A. in Bicultural Bilingual Education. Léo's fierce passion for education reform and the inclusion of Ethnic Studies in public schools serves him well as an activist in the San Antonio and Texas communities.
