James Benavides is a life-long San Antonian. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1996, received his bachelor’s in journalism from Texas A&M University, and a master’s in communications arts from the University of the Incarnate Word. He is currently the senior communications specialist at UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures.
