Gabriel Quintero Velasquez is the executive director of the Avenida Guadalupe Association. He received his BS in Architecture from the University of Texas at San Antonio and has a long career history in various architectural offices. Velasquez served as Director of the Inner City Advocates at the Mexican American Unity Council, is the coordinator of the annual San Antonio César E. Chávez March for Justice, and the Vice-President of the César Chávez Legacy and Educational Foundation, which annually awards grants to college-bound students from underserved populations.
