Chris Lazaro grew up in the Washington, D.C. area and, after a four-year career in kitchen & bath design, moved to Texas in 2008 for a volunteer opportunity through AmeriCorps*VISTA. It was during that time in Waco that his passion for cities was reignited, sending him to Texas A&M University where he earned his Master of Urban Planning in 2013. He and his wife live in Beacon Hill.
