Carlos Aguilar is a doctoral student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE). His research centers on issues related to undocumented youth in particularly harsh contexts. As an undocumented immigrant and DACA recipient, Carlos’ underlying emphasis is to complicate current narratives and theoretical frameworks surrounding undocumented immigrants by highlighting the complex experiences of individuals, their families, and communities.
