Alan grew up in the Northwest side of San Antonio, and now lives in Denver Heights, on the near Eastside of Downtown. He is an architect, the Garden Steward of the Pittman Sullivan Community Garden, an urban home gardener, an occasional contributor of vegetables and foods to the Dignowity Hill Farmer's Market, and an appointed City Official to the Zoning Board of Adjustments representing District 2.
