The 8th annual World Heritage Festival will take place Sept. 6-10 with a vast array of exciting events. The festival allows residents and visitors alike the opportunity to celebrate San Antonio’s unique history and culture through fun, family-friendly events, including Tour de Las Misiones, a one-of-a-kind opportunity to visit and learn about the historic San Antonio Missions, on Saturday, Sept. 9 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tour de Las Misiones events include a leisurely 7-, 14-, or 22-mile guided bike tour with stops at two or all of the missions, as well as a 5K/10K walk and a timed 5K/10K run through Mission San Jose, the scenic trails of the Mission Reach and the Hot Wells ruins. All events will begin at Mission Park Pavilion, located at 6030 Padre Dr. 78214, where the public can also enjoy live music, local artists, food and more.

Interested in riding in this year’s Tour de las Misiones, but don’t have a bike? No problem! San Antonio BCycle is offering registered participants a free BCycle rental for the event. Email sanantonio@bcycle.com with proof of registration to receive a promo code.
