When I walked into Möbius Partners for the first time, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’d spent years in accounting, building a career in a field far removed from the fast-paced world of technology. But I wanted more of a challenge, so I applied for an open position at Möbius Partners. In that first job interview, something clicked for me. The positive energy and sense of community drew me in. I didn’t just see a company; I saw a family.

Nearly 10 years later, I’m proud to say I’m an integral part of that family, serving as an account manager at Möbius Partners. As a leading IT solutions provider, we work hand in hand with customers to implement solutions that drive efficiency, enhance security and promote business growth. While we leverage a mix of enterprise-grade hardware, software and cloud solutions to tailor IT solutions, our approach is all about people —building strong, long-term relationships with our customers, partners and each other. It’s a blend of cutting-edge technology and genuine human connection, and it’s why I’m proud to call Möbius Partners home.

I wear many hats in my role, helping businesses navigate the complex world of technology solutions. From supporting our account executives to ensuring our customers have the tools they need to manage their businesses; I try to go beyond simply getting the job done. For me, it’s about the relationships I build along the way, both with my team and with my customers.

Our team dynamic is rooted in our company culture. The founders of Möbius were born and raised in San Antonio and have been friends since high school. Their entrepreneurial spirit and close community ties are ingrained in our approach to work. We work hard, and we also genuinely care about each other. 

Since I began work here, Möbius Partners has been a place where I felt supported. Early on, company leadership emphasized the importance of work-life balance, with a strong focus on family. “Family comes first,” I was told. “If anything’s going on, you can go and take off to be with your kids.” That philosophy resonates deeply with me and continues to be a reality as we have embraced a hybrid work policy that allows for in-person and remote work.

But it’s not just the culture that keeps me engaged — it’s the exciting landscape of the technology industry. Technology is always evolving, and our customer needs are all different. It keeps me flexible and gives me constant opportunities to learn something new. 

That adaptability was put to the test during the pandemic. Finding equipment became a near-impossible task as global supply chain slowdowns stretched lead times for hardware from weeks to months. But my team and I rose to the challenge, leveraging every relationship and resource we had to keep our customers’ businesses running smoothly. Recently, I leveraged my industry connections to secure an urgent bulk order of laptops, navigating hurdles to ensure my customer received exactly what they needed, right on time.

We’ve also seen a massive shift in digital transformation initiatives as businesses accelerate their cloud adoption. Our customers are no exception and helping them make that transition efficiently remains one of our top priorities. Whether it’s migrating workloads to AWS, Azure or a hybrid cloud environment, we work closely with our customers to ensure seamless integrations and minimal disruptions. There can be a learning curve for customers when it comes to IT, so we become an extension of their team, providing hands-on training and ongoing support to maximize productivity.

The challenges continue to shift. Many businesses are tightening budgets amid rising costs and are more cautious with their spending. But I’ve learned to stay proactive, always thinking several steps ahead. This is where strong relationships with partner representatives become very helpful! It’s about anticipating needs before a problem ever arises.

My role at Möbius Partners is unique, and not just because of the work I do. I take pride in being part of a growing group of women making their mark in the male-dominated technology industry. As a woman in this space, I’m confident that I bring a fresh perspective. I’m detail-oriented, and that attention to detail makes a big difference to our customers.

After nearly a decade with Möbius Partners, I still find myself inspired by my team, the relationships I’ve built, and the impact I’ve had on my community. For me, it’s not just a job — it’s a journey, and one that I’m incredibly proud to be on.
