Medina Valley Independent School District will elect two school board members on the May 3 ballot.
The seven-member board includes two at-large members, who are elected by the entire school district, as well as five at-large members, who represent a specific geographic region. All members serve three-year terms.

In District 1, trustee Ben Juarez was appointed to the position and faces a challenge seeking his first full term. In District 3, trustee Matthew Castiglione faces a contested reelection race.
Early voting runs April 22 through April 29 for the May 3 election, and voters in Bexar County can choose from any of these 46 early voting locations. Hours vary by date and location.
