Alamo adds more than 400 mission-era artifacts to collection

The Alamo Trust acquired the collection from Bexar County collectors Donald and Louise Yena. Donald, a renowned Western artist, donated six large paintings.

A 2015 donation of more than 400 artifacts from English drummer Phil Collins have inspired the preview to the Phil Collins Texana Collection that will go into the new exhibition hall and collections building, expected to open December 2022.
