South San Trustees Vote Against Layoffs, Add to District Deficit

South San Antonio ISD trustees on Wednesday night unanimously approved a budget that leaves the district with an estimated $3 million deficit.

Voters on Tuesday rejected a tax rate increase for South San Antonio Independent School District by 57 percent of the vote.
