Appellate court keeps local mask mandate in place; trial set for December

An appellate court ruled Thursday that a temporary order allowing San Antonio and Bexar County to mandate masks in certain places still stands.

Mayor Ron Nirenberg and Judge Nelson Wolff have challenged an order by Governor Greg Abbott restricting local municipalities emergency declarations.
