South San ISD students earn money, learn business skills on Lemonade Day

South San ISD students and SA Youth operated three lemonade stands Thursday, earning $1,000 and business skills not taught in schools.

Last week’s winter storm forced students to miss at least another week of school, adding to learning loss that resulted from the pandemic. What are districts doing to help? Will the state release new federal relief funds to help? Photos taken of the Cosgrove family on February 27, 2021.
