Community support key to recovery and healing from mental illness

Commentary: We need to come together as a community to help people get treatment sooner and provide support during recovery and beyond.

Anyone in the United States battling mental health or substance abuse concerns can now call 988, a new crisis hotline that will connect callers to professionals. Bexar County does not have a crisis center to callers here will be directed to resources around the state.
