Water supply contract could derail dreams of a park at Honey Creek

A ranch slated for a controversial development could become a park, but only if a water contract to supply 1,600 homes can be changed.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission is briefed on the proposal of acquiring 515 acres in Comal County to help preserve the Honey Creek Natural Area.
