Opinion: After purchasing a home on San Antonio’s East Side, I’ve come to acknowledge I’m a clinical marker of gentrification. My neighbors and I hope to blunt the blows our arrival may bring.

An art installation by Casa de Cuentos was on display along Guadalupe Street for Dia de los Muertos and featured westside homes and businesses that were torn down to make way for new developments.
