San Antonio Symphony music library purchased by new SA Philharmonic

Philanthropists and the musicians’ union stepped in to rescue the music library of the former San Antonio Symphony for the new San Antonio Philharmonic.

The musicians which comprised the now defunct San Antonio Symphony will present a new concert season opening Friday. They will perform under their new name, The San Antonio Philharmonic.
