TEA delays release of school district accountability scores

School districts have been bracing for low scores following changes to the metrics used to grade schools an academics and other factors.

Texas Education Agency Commissioner Mike Morath, seen at Somerset ISD in 2022, said earlier this month that changes in the A-F accountability rating system are necessary in order to keep pace with the nation in terms of academic rigor and achievement.
