Activists submit 38,000 signatures in effort to put policing issues on city ballot

The City Clerk’s office has 20 business days, until Feb. 8, to verify more than 38,000 signatures gathered on a petition.

Following the U.S. Supreme Court overruling of Roe v. Wade, the State of Texas became the authority on abortion laws as medical professionals adjust how they treat and care for high-risk pregnancies.
