Before voters head to the polls a second time for a June 7 runoff election, the San Antonio Report and Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce are hosting a mayoral runoff debate between Former Air Force Under Secretary Gina Ortiz Jones and former Texas Secretary of State Rolando Pablos.

The final two contenders to replace outgoing Mayor Ron Nirenberg will square off in a live debate at historic Stable Hall at the Pearl on Monday, May 19.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the runoff debate beginning at 6 p.m. Registration is required to attend, and can be found here.

Sponsorships are available and include benefits such as prime reserved seating and exclusive VIP access for 10 attendees. Further information on sponsorship can be found here.

Last month’s mayoral debate, also hosted by the San Antonio Report and the Greater Chamber, brought in hundreds of attendees. Jones and Pablos were among the eight leading candidates who participated, sparring over topics including affordable housing, public safety and Project Marvel.
