Please tell voters about yourself.

I’ve lived in San Antonio for over 8 years, where I’ve raised my family. I’m a dedicated father and husband, and my experiences have shaped my values of respect and service. I’m running for City Council to represent everyday people and address key issues like Affordable Housing, Infrastructure, and Public Safety.

I graduated from Snyder High School in 2015 and moved to San Antonio to start my life, where I met my wife and our daughter was born and raised. My professional background includes landscaping and security. I’m committed to providing transparency in local government and ensuring the needs of our community are met with honesty and dedication.

List any previous experience in government or participation on local boards, commissions, or neighborhood associations.

I have not held a formal position in government or served on local boards or commissions. My personal and professional experiences have provided me with a strong understanding of community needs and a desire to make a positive impact. As a father, husband, and active member of the San Antonio community, I am deeply invested in the well-being of our city.

I am committed to bringing a fresh perspective to local government, using my experiences as a member of the community to advocate for the issues that matter most to our residents. This is my first time running for elected office, and I am eager to serve and represent the people of San Antonio.

In the city’s 2024-2025 budget survey, residents ranked homelessness, streets, housing and animal care services among their top concerns for the city to address. Which issues do you consider a top concern for District 7 and how would you work to address them in your first 100 days?

In District 7, some of the top concerns I hear from residents include the overcrowding of apartments, public safety, and infrastructure. These issues directly affect our quality of life, and I am committed to addressing them in my first 100 days as your City Council representative.

The overcrowding of apartments is a critical issue. I will work to find solutions that balance growth with the need for more space and better living conditions. By collaborating with developers, community leaders, and residents, I will advocate for responsible development that ensures new housing meets the needs of all income levels.

Public safety is another priority. I will work closely with law enforcement and community organizations to ensure our neighborhoods are safe and well-served. Building stronger relationships between law enforcement and residents will be key to fostering trust and preventing crime.

Infrastructure, particularly road maintenance, is essential for District 7. I will ensure that road maintenance projects are completed in a timely manner and within budget, so our residents can drive on safe, well-maintained streets. By addressing these issues early on, I aim to create a District where residents feel safe, supported, and confident in the city’s growth and development.

In a crowded field of council candidates, what differentiates you from the others?

What sets me apart from other candidates is my deep connection to the community and my commitment to representing everyday people. I’m not a career politician, I’m a father, husband, and hardworking member of District 7, focused on making real, positive changes for our families. I’m committed to listening to my neighbors and ensuring their voices are heard in City Hall.

Unlike others, I approach this role with a fresh perspective and a strong desire to address key issues like affordable housing, public safety, and infrastructure. I believe in collaboration, transparency, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. My priority is not politics but the well-being of the people I serve. I’m here to create lasting solutions that improve the lives of the residents of District 7.

If elected, how do you plan to solicit input and feedback from residents in your district?

If elected, I plan to actively solicit input and feedback from residents by creating open channels of communication and ensuring accessibility. I will hold regular town hall meetings, both in person and virtually, so residents can voice their concerns and ideas. I will also make use of social media platforms and my campaign website to engage with the community, provide updates, and gather feedback.

Additionally, I will set up a dedicated email and phone line for residents to reach out directly with their thoughts or issues. It’s important to me that every voice in District 7 is heard, and I will ensure that residents have multiple avenues to share their feedback. I am committed to being transparent and responsive, working together with the community to make informed decisions that benefit everyone.
