1. Please tell voters about yourself.
A lifelong Texas, a devoted father, a successful owner and entrepreneur and community leader. I am 77 years old. I am a lifelong resident of New Braunfels. New Braunfels High School Diploma. 60 plus years in various business ventures.
2. Briefly describe your top policy priorities.
- Affordability for the public
- Insurance and Tax reform
- Upholding current immigration rules and establish reforms
3. What should Congress be doing to rein in inflation and/or stabilize/boost the economy?
- Work together to investigate and correct the rampant fraud within the federal, state and local governments
- Work to improve the Healthcare and Medical industry and insurance
- Continue working to attract US manufacturers and returning to produce more products in the US
4. What should Congress be doing to reform immigration laws?
Continue to monitor the minimal border crossings. Legislate and pass true immigration reform. Deport all illegal migrants who broke the law to come in to the country.
5. At a time when the White House is asserting more control over national security and spending without Congress’ input, how would you handle disagreements over the division of power?
The founding fathers formed the three branches of government to work together and protect our constitutional republic for the greater good. Unfortunately, the last few administrations on both sides of the aisle have not worked to continue these principles, we need to work together to return to a government for the people,
6. The past year has brought tremendous uncertainty to many Americans surrounding rising health insurance premiums and lack of access to medical care near their homes. What do you believe Congress should be doing to make health care affordable and accessible to residents in your state?
The government should not be in the business of healthcare. The ACA which was supposed to help Americans, has done the exact opposite with the insurance companies making record profits, all the while insuring some and not others. Healthcare for Illegal immigrants should be immediately eliminated as it is a drain to our system. Work with local providers and create incentives for the development of local clinics.
