Díez has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Southern Methodist University, works in logistics in Brownsville and is a board member of the Rio Grand Valley Blockchain Initiative. The Texas Railroad Commission regulates the state’s oil and gas industry, liquid propane industry and coal and uranium surface mining.
