Grace Uzomba is a former county court judge who lost her reelection race in the Democratic primary in 2022. Uzomba served over 20 years in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps before receiving her law degree from St. Mary’s University. As a county court judge, she was reprimanded by the State Commission on Judicial Conduct and stripped of her cases by the county’s administrative judge. This year she’s running for a state district court judgeship and challenging incumbent Judge Marisa Flores in the Democratic primary.
