Brett Busby was appointed to the Texas Supreme Court in 2019 and is seeking a second full term in 2026. He previously served on the 14th Court of Appeals in Houston and was a partner at Bracewell LLP. He is unopposed in the GOP primary, but faces a Democratic challenger in November.
