Bo French is a former chair of the Tarrant County Republican Party. He’s been an energy trader and rancher, and owned businesses providing security for energy companies. He pushed incumbent Republican Jim Wright to a runoff in the March primary, and won the GOP’s nomination for a seat on the Texas Railroad Commission. French now faces Democrat Jon Rosenthal in November.
